HICUP Lab Visitors from Eramus+ ELBA

HICUP Lab welcomed visitors from UP FAMNIT’s Erasmus+ Project ELBA. In the said project, 28 professors and researchers from four partner countries, namely Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, received training on machine learning and big data and data mining.

Part of this project is a tour of the different facilities and laboratories within FAMNIT. The HICUP research group welcomed these guests and did a demo of its current projects.

Dr Matjaž Kljun gave a warm welcome to the visitors and began with an overview of the current facilities and equipment of the lab.

Then, the visitors got the opportunity to listen and interact with the demos prepared by some of the PhD students in the lab.

PhD students **Maheshya Weerasinghe**, **Cuauhtli Campos** and **Nuwan T Attygalle**, got to feature the current updates in their project. The visitors were captivated by the different demonstrations and got the chance to interact with the lab members.
