Bilateral projects with Germany and Japan

 Researchers of UP FAMNIT and UP IAM have been successful in obtaining bilateral scientific research cooperation projects funded by the Public Agency for Research of the Republic of Slovenia. In the recent call HICUP laboratory researchers have been successful in acquiring new projects to connect with scientists from Germany (Mixed reality lab directed by Jens Grubert @Coburg University,) and Japan (IMD Lab directed by Hirokazu Kato @Nara Institute of Science and Technology).

Such bilateral collaborations are a necessary practice for the scientific community, as they strengthen the already established or enable new collaborations between researchers who do research on similar topics at various institutions around the world. Strengthening cooperation also enables scientific and technological progress of the participating countries. The acquired projects are:
