Peter CHANTHANAKONE, the award winning director and producer specializing in 3D animated short films will run a workshop on “Creating Animated Models with Recap and Maya”. Organized by HICUP Lab @University of Primorska.
In the workshop you will learn how to use photogrammetry to reconstruct 3D objects from images alone. In this process we will use Recap software from Autodesk. In the second part of the workshop you will learn how to animate the curated models.
If you plan to use your own PC please install Maya 2018 and Recap 2018. You can get this for free using your student email.
Please also bring your mobile device and a USB cable with you to the workshop.
