PhD Graduation of Jordan Aiko Deja

Jordan Aiko Deja, a former PhD student and member of HICUP Lab, received his doctoral diploma certificate on 22 May 2026, following the defense of his PhD dissertation on 23 December 2025.

His doctoral research focused on augmented reality and music learning, with particular attention to piano learning and improvisation through adaptive visualisations and digital augmentation. The research examined how augmented piano systems can support learners through adaptive visual feedback, spatiotemporal models, and expert-based guidance. Jordan’s current work focuses on Spatial, Pervasive, Augmented Creative Experiences, and he is affiliated with the Human-X Interactions Laboratory at De La Salle University in the Philippines.
