Klen Čopič Pucihar chaired and presented at the Human-Computer Interaction panel held at the 9th Symposium of Slovenian Researchers Abroad. The panel offered an insight into the research work of Slovenians abroad, covering a diverse range of topics in the field of HCI.
Speakers guided us through subjects such as the hidden dangers of the digital world and inclusive STEM education enhanced by open-source robotic companions. Attendees learned about remarkable scientific achievements, including anatomically precise hand simulation and advancements in automatic gesture annotation.
The audience response included discussions and proposals for commercializing the presented research. The panel concluded with a thought-provoking reflection on humanity’s existential challenges in the digital era, leaving us with the sense that exciting times lie ahead.
