In May, HICUP Lab welcomed several international researchers and professors as part of ongoing research collaborations with the FAMNIT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel le Roux<\/a> from Stellenbosch University<\/a> visited the lab, hosted by Klen \u010copi\u010d Pucihar and Matja\u017e Kljun. His visit continued a long-standing collaboration with HICUP Lab, which has already resulted in a joint research publication, with a second paper currently in preparation. The collaboration also includes researcher exchanges between Slovenia and South Africa and a prospective PhD collaboration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lab also hosted Jordan Aiko Deja<\/a> from De La Salle University<\/a>, a former PhD student of the Hicup Lab, further strengthening international links in human-computer interaction and related research areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Marko Tkal\u010di\u010d hosted Francesco Ricci<\/a> from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy<\/a>, Petar Knees<\/a> from TU Wien<\/a>, and Bruce Ferwerda<\/a> from J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping University<\/a>, whose visits focused on recommender systems, personalisation, and user modeling. These visits provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, discussion of ongoing projects, and the development of future joint research activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
