HICUP Lab member Karolina Trajkovska<\/a> presented recent research on the study \u201cCan Immersion Protect Us From Distraction? The Impact of Real-World Distractions on Learning in Augmented Reality.\u201d It was based on a recently published paper<\/a> co-authored by Karolina Trajkovska and other members of the research team. The presentation took place at the Monday Seminar of the Department of Computer Science, UP FAMNIT, on 23 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the seminar, Karolina introduced the motivation, study design, and key findings of the research, which investigates whether augmented reality can help learners remain focused when exposed to real-world distractions. The work shows that although AR users may feel less distracted, AR alone does not necessarily improve learning performance under distraction, highlighting important considerations for the design of future immersive learning technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
