Professor Matja\u017e Kljun delivered his inaugural lecture as a Full Professor at the University of Primorska on February 23, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was held at the FAMNIT building and marked an important milestone in his academic career. The lecture gathered a wide audience, including Prof. Ademir Hujdurovi\u0107, the Dean of FAMNIT, staff members from the Department of Computer Science, as well as many of his students, colleagues, friends, and family members. Several colleagues and peers also joined the celebration through Zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his lecture, titled\u00a0“Technology as a Cognitive Scaffold: Designing for Human Learning and Creativity”,<\/em>\u00a0Professor Kljun shared his knowledge and insights regarding intersection between human cognitive abilities and machine intelligence. He also reflected on his journey in research, from his early years to his current position in the field, highlighting the key milestones that shaped his work in Human-Computer Interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
