{"id":1522,"date":"2022-12-12T14:38:40","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T14:38:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hicup.famnit.upr.si\/?p=1522"},"modified":"2022-12-12T14:38:40","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T14:38:40","slug":"hicup-iss2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hicup.famnit.upr.si\/index.php\/2022\/12\/12\/hicup-iss2022\/","title":{"rendered":"HICUP Successes at ISS 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In-person demonstration of the paper interfaces project by Cuauhtli Campos during the demo sessions of ISS 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last November 2022, HICUP Lab achieved several accomplishments during the recently-concluded ACM <a href=\"https:\/\/iss2022.acm.org\">ISS 2022 Conference<\/a>. As an annual conference series starting in 2006, ACM <a href=\"http:\/\/iss.acm.org\">ISS<\/a> (formerly known as ACM ITS, International Conference on Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces) is the premier venue for research addressing the design, development and use of new and emerging tabletop, digital surface, interactive spaces and multi-surface technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, it was held in hybrid mode with in-person events in Wellington, New Zealand and online via Zoom and Discord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three (3) FULL papers were accepted and presented in the main track of the conference. The proceedings were published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/toc\/pacmhci\/2022\/6\/ISS\">December 2022<\/a> (No. ISS) issue of the Proceedings of the ACM on Human-Computer Interaction (PACMHCI).
